Manufacturing's Future Arrives: FAME Program Launches at JWCC This Winter
Students immerse themselves in a dynamic learning experience, dividing their week between hands-on professional training and classroom instruction. Participants split their time strategically: three days are dedicated to real-world workplace experience with leading regional employers, while the remaining two days are spent honing skills at John Wood Community College's state-of-the-art Workforce Development Center. This innovative approach ensures students gain practical knowledge and professional exposure simultaneously, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
The carefully structured program allows participants to immediately apply classroom concepts in professional settings, creating a comprehensive and interactive educational journey. By alternating between on-site work experience and targeted training, students develop a robust skill set that prepares them for successful careers in their chosen fields.
